 Application for Memorial Brick(s)

Dust Bowl Historical Park at the Sunset / Weedpatch Camp

Purpose:     Inscribed granite bricks are intended to memorialize the men, women and families who migrated to California during the Dust Bowl era.  The bricks will be set into a walkway through the Dust Bowl Historical Park at the Sunset/Weedpatch Camp after placement of the three 1930’s buildings is finalized and the preservation and restoration of buildings is completed.  Your donation is tax deductible.

Brick Choices:    Granite bricks are available in two sizes.  The 4” x 8” bricks are available for $100 each and may be inscribed with up to three lines of text (15 characters and spaces per line maximum).  The 16” x 16” bricks are available for $400 each and may contain up to 5 lines of text (20 characters maximum).  Upon approval, logos may be added to the larger bricks ($75 additional charge).  The inscribed granite bricks are California Sierra White granite, and the walkway will then be edged with bricks of Oklahoma Red granite.
